Workshop Objectives:
Featuring didactic and hands-on sessions that will prepare you for the CDCA exam.
Operative dentistry
- Perform amalgam and composite preparations and restorations in the traditional mannequin labs.
- Class II, III amalgam restoration.
- Class II, III composite restoration.
- Restorations of composite preparations using various forms of matrix bands.
RCT
- Rubber dam application, anterior teeth access, cleaning, shaping and obturation, and Posterior teeth access, cleaning and shaping
Treatment planning
- Review simple and complex treatment planning, caries risk assessment, sequencing of treatment plan, presentation of plan, informed consent, and modifications to treatment plan.
Treatment Planning, Periodontics Evaluation
- Review simple and complex treatment planning, caries risk assessment, sequencing of treatment plan, presentation of plan, informed consent, and modifications to treatment plan.
Fixed Prosthodontics

Anterior Tooth Preparation for All ceramic Crown, 3-unit Bridge Metal- PFM Crown
-
Perform a preparation and fabricate a temporary restoration on a posterior tooth for a PFM restoration.

Perform a preparation and fabricate a temporary restoration on an anterior tooth for a full ceramic restoration.
Infection Control
-
Management of typodont in the simulation clinic with SDM infection control guidelines.
-
Restorations of composite preparations using various forms of matrix bands with emphasis on the use of sectional matrix.
Fee: $6,500

Includes all dental instruments and materials (HP and the instruments, mounting pole, and mannequin, the typodont, SDS Bur Block with Burs, Replacement Teeth, Replacement Burs)

Continuing Dental Education
2022-2023 Implant Continuum
Place and Restore Multiple Implants During this Expansive Course.
Join CDI’s faculty and world-renowned Clinicians for seven modules of Didactic, Hands-on, & Clinical Education in Implantology. Participants will spend 2 days in the classroom, per module, developing skills, learning techniques, and experiencing new technology. Live patient cases will be scheduled at the Participant’s convenience during the week. Earn 160 CE Credits in an approved ADA-CERP & AGD PACE accredited course.
